Who am I?

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same." Unknown

This is an amazing quote! I know when I think about doing great things and making a difference in the world it does scare me a little bit (okay, a lot). Who am I really that I should not use the gifts that God has given me to change a life and to allow others to be inspired to do the same? This is the reason I want to be a teacher so very much. I want to shine God's glory into the lives of children to inspire and encourage them to attempt great things; things they never thought were possible. This is the gift God has given to me; who am I to keep it to myself???
